Extension Homemakers is a social and educational organization started in 1913. The Extension Homemakers believe that the home is the greatest institution and can be strengthened through community involvement. The organization strives to educate members on homemaking skills and contribute to their communities in a positive way through volunteerism, charity, and educational programs.

Indiana Extension Homemakers is supported by Purdue Extension Services. Our organization falls under the responsibility of the Health & Human Sciences Educator.
